Crucial Conversations with Community Forward SF

According to the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing in San Francisco, total homelessness increased by 7% since 2022, rising from 7,754 to 8,323 in January 2024. From a more in-depth 2019 report, 44% of females in the city experiencing homelessness report domestic violence. 

That’s why, for this month’s Crucial Conversation, we are proud to announce our special guest speaker, Rebecca Jackson. Rebecca is a powerful advocate for women and their children in San Francisco who are experiencing homelessness and striving for a better future. Recently appointed as the Vice President of Reentry and Public Affairs at Community Forward SF, Rebecca’s dedication and leadership have made a significant impact on the community.

Her commitment extends to numerous women's rights issues in SF. She is an active member of several coalitions and work groups, including co-chairing the Women’s Housing Coalition and participating in the Women’s Working Group, the Re-entry Council for Women’s first subcommittee, and the Hamilton Families board.
