Crucial Conversations with Freedom Forward (HYPE Center)

We have some exciting news to share! For September’s Crucial Conversation, our event will be interpreted in both Spanish and ASL, thanks to the support of the Culturally Responsive Domestic Violence Network. This will make our important discussion accessible to even more people in our community. Please share!

Young people are often among the most vulnerable in our community, facing heightened risks of exploitation and abuse. To truly prevent these issues, we must tackle the systemic gaps that contribute to their exploitation and increase their risk of experiencing domestic violence.

That’s why, for September’s Crucial Conversation, we are proud to partner with Freedom Forward, an organization dedicated to preventing the commercial sexual exploitation of youth in San Francisco. This month, we’ll highlight their HYPE Center, a multi-service drop-in center designed by and for young people, providing the resources and support needed to break cycles of abuse and exploitation.

We are honored to have Francesca Gonzalez, Executive Director of Freedom Forward, join us as the speaker for this event. Francesca’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in transforming the landscape of youth services, and we are thrilled to hear her insights on how the HYPE Center is making a lasting impact.
